Otamatone Official Cover Contest Official Rules — Terms & Conditions NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor The Otamatone Official Cover Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Hamee U.S. Corp., located at 19571 Magellan Dr. Torrance, CA 90502 (“Sponsor”).
2. Contest Period The Contest begins on October 28, 2026 Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on December 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received during the Contest Period. Sponsor’s submission system is the official timekeeping device for the Contest.
3. Eligibility The Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least thirteen (13) years old at the time of entry. Entrants who have not reached the age of majority in their state of residence must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before entering. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and any agencies involved in administering the Contest, and their immediate family members or members of their households, are not eligible to enter. “Immediate family members” means spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses. Sponsor may request reasonable documentation to verify eligibility and parental or legal guardian consent.
4. How to Enter During the Contest Period:
- Create a video that meets the requirements and post on TikTok or Instagram using the hashtag #OtamatoneCoverContest26 and tagging @otamatone.us
- Complete the official submission form at ENTRY FORM (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe3s26CZXLeOn3dhACYdtODxhQMFQXvYIyix_4WXjY_J_Hd0Q/viewform)
- Submit your video or a link to your video, as instructed on the form, and provide the required contact information.
The submitted video and accompanying submission materials are collectively referred to as an “Entry.” Limit: one (1) prize per person. An Entry submitted through a link must remain accessible to Sponsor through [DATE]. Posting a video on social media alone does not constitute entry; the submission form must also be completed. Entries that are late, incomplete, inaccessible, fraudulent, or otherwise inconsistent with these Official Rules may be disqualified. Automated submissions and attempts to evade the entry limit through multiple identities or accounts are prohibited.
5. Social Media Disclosures If an entrant posts an Entry publicly in connection with the Contest, the post must clearly disclose that it is a contest entry. Include #OtamatoneCoverContest26 Contest prominently near the beginning of the caption. For video posts, also include a clear, readable disclosure in the video, such as “Entry for the Otamatone Contest.” Entrants must comply with the applicable platform’s terms and must not inaccurately tag people or content.
6. Originality and Third-Party Rights By submitting an Entry, the entrant—and, if applicable, their parent or legal guardian—represents and warrants that:
- The entrant created the Entry and owns or has obtained all rights and permissions necessary to submit it and grant the rights described in these Official Rules.
- The Entry does not infringe any third party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- The Entry is not subject to any agreement that conflicts with participation in the Contest or Sponsor’s permitted use of the Entry.
Previously published videos are permitted, provided they meet all other requirements of these Official Rules. Any music, sound recordings, images, footage, artwork, or other third-party materials included in an Entry must be original to the entrant, in the public domain, or properly licensed for both the entrant’s submission and Sponsor’s permitted use. The availability of music or other content in a social media platform’s library does not, by itself, establish permission for Sponsor to download, repost, or use that content outside the platform.
7. People Appearing in Videos Videos do not need to include any people. If an Entry includes another identifiable person’s image, likeness, or voice, the entrant must obtain that person’s permission for submission of the Entry and Sponsor’s use as described in Section 11 before entering. If any such person has not reached the age of majority in their state of residence, permission must be obtained from that person’s parent or legal guardian. For minor entrants, the entrant’s parent or legal guardian must confirm that the required permissions have been obtained. Sponsor may request written evidence of these permissions.
8. Prohibited Content Entries must not:
- Infringe another person’s or entity’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Contain unlawful, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, obscene, threatening, or harassing content.
- Depict or encourage dangerous activities that create an unreasonable risk of harm to any person, animal, or property.
- Be created through unlawful or unsafe conduct.
- Include third-party branding or other protected material in a manner that infringes rights or falsely implies sponsorship or endorsement.
- Reveal private or sensitive information, such as home addresses, personal telephone numbers, financial information, or identification documents.
- Contain false or misleading claims about Sponsor or its products.
Information requested in the private submission form is not prohibited by item 6 and will be handled as described in Section 12. Sponsor may disqualify an Entry if it reasonably determines that the Entry violates these requirements.
9. Judging and Winner Selection This is a skill-based contest. Winners will be selected through judging, not by random drawing. Judging will take place during begenning of January. Potential winners will be notified on or about middle of January. Judges’ decisions are final and binding with respect to the application of the published judging criteria, subject to applicable law.
10. Prizes and Winner Notification The following prizes will be awarded:

- Grand Prize includes: $1,000 cash prize, 5 Otamatone Deluxes, 5 Otamatone Regulars, $250 Hamee website Virtual Gift Card

Potential winners will be contacted exclusively through the email address provided on the submission form. Each potential winner must respond within forty-eight (48) hours after Sponsor sends the notification email. Responding does not automatically confirm a prize. Potential winners must also satisfy the eligibility requirements and provide any reasonably required verification or acceptance documents within the deadline stated in the notification. For a minor winner, a parent or legal guardian must complete the required documents and accept the prize on the minor’s behalf. If a potential winner fails to respond on time, cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to provide required documentation, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and offered to the next highest-scoring eligible entrant. Prizes will be delivered at Sponsor’s expense to a verified address within the eligible geographic area. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. If a stated prize becomes unavailable, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law. Winners are responsible for applicable taxes and any expenses expressly identified here: [LIST ANY EXPENSES, OR “NONE”]. Sponsor will not charge a fee to claim or receive a prize.
11. Ownership and Permission to Use Entries Entrants retain ownership of their Entries. By submitting an Entry, the entrant—and, if applicable, their parent or legal guardian—grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and make reasonable edits to the Entry solely to administer, judge, announce, and promote the Contest and its results on Sponsor’s websites, organic social media accounts, and email communications. Permitted edits include resizing, cropping, captioning, translating, and shortening the Entry, provided the edits do not materially misrepresent the entrant or the Entry. Sponsor may allow service providers acting on its behalf to use the Entry only for these purposes. No additional payment is owed for uses authorized under this section. Sponsor may identify the entrant using the display name supplied for public credit on the submission form. Entrants should not provide a legal name as their public display name unless they wish it to be published. Paid advertising, unrelated product marketing, and uses outside this license require a separate written agreement with the entrant and, where applicable, their parent or legal guardian, together with any additional third-party permissions. Sponsor is not required to publish or use any Entry. This license is subject to applicable law and does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
12. Privacy Personal information collected through the submission form will be used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility and required consent, contact potential winners, deliver prizes, and comply with applicable legal obligations, as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Sponsor may share this information with service providers assisting with these activities. Entering the Contest does not automatically subscribe an entrant to marketing emails. Any marketing subscription will require a separate, optional opt-in. Do not submit personal information about children under thirteen (13).
13. Platform Disclaimer and Release The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok or Instagram. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant—and, where applicable, their parent or legal guardian—releases TikTok and Instagram from claims and liability arising out of or relating to the Contest. Information submitted through Sponsor’s entry form is provided to Sponsor, not to TikTok or Instagram.
14. Contest Administration Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry or judging process, submits fraudulent information, or materially violates these Official Rules. If fraud, technical failures, or circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially compromise the integrity or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or cancel the Contest to the extent permitted by law. Where reasonably practicable, Sponsor will award the announced prizes by applying the published judging criteria to unaffected eligible Entries received before the disruption. Nothing in these Official Rules excludes or limits any liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Acceptance of Rules By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules. For an entrant who has not reached the age of majority in their state of residence, participation also requires the agreement of their parent or legal guardian.
